On Monday, May 24th, the Grossmont District and Valhalla High School opened the doors to the brand new, state of the art, Science Building. The 12 classroom facility boasts both lab and desk space, upgraded educational technology, bathrooms, an elevator, and beautiful landscapes. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in the afternoon, attended by school and district staff, the Superintendent, Distinguished Board Members, and representatives from some local political offices. Tours of the facility were made available. This day marks the beginning of a new era of Science for Valhalla’s students.
